Teese Experiments

Whenever I use vegan cheese on my pizzas, I always just shred the cheese. Given that Teese melts really well, I have tried something I have not attempted with vegan pizza before. A common way Italian restaurants dress their pizzas is to just lay slices of cheese (mostly Mozzarella) on top. Kind of like he does (pizza skills start around 1:28). I tried to do just that with the recently discovered tube shaped Teese.

Before baking:

Verdict: Not bad. Certainly melts better than any other vegan cheese. This sort of thing was not possible before Teese came along. Pizza tasted good, too.

yummy. I think the plank method works better than shredding. it somehow melts better. a place I go to lays on slabs of something like follow your heart and it's very good. it defies logic.
